Teenage Norton Takes Debut Hat-Trick

18-year-old Tom Norton created County Championship history with his debut performance against Somerset in early May. The teenager roared in like the north wind, wrecking Somerset's top order and becoming one of few players to achieve a hat-trick on their Championship debut.

Despite Norton's early heroics, his season was cut short in August when he was ruled out with a stress fracture of the back. Nevertheless, Glamorgan survived their first year back in the top tier, with batters expected to nervously face Norton in 2027 when he returns to full fitness. xsportfeed.quest
