Spain Coach Hopeful Injured Stars Will Return by November 15
Spain's national team is currently in camp preparing for their 2026 World Cup journey and will face Iraq in a friendly this Thursday at Riazor. Head coach Luis de la Fuente confirmed that injured players, including Lamine Yamal, Nico Williams, Víctor Muñoz, and Mikel Merino, will not participate in the upcoming friendly match.
However, de la Fuente expressed satisfaction with their recovery progress. He stated that if their positive evolution continues, the injured group could be ready to return by the 15th, though the coaching staff will later evaluate if it is convenient for them to play in the first official game.
