Hoel Wins Cross-Country Classic at Toppidrettsveka

Johan Hoel secured the top spot in the men's 53km classic style race at Toppidrettsveka on Hitra, defeating Swedish competitor Tage Borjesson in a dramatic finish. The 19-year-old Norwegian Leopold Strand impressed by leading the race solo for many kilometers before being caught in the final stages. Among other notable Norwegians, Harald Østberg Amundsen finished 7th while Johannes Høsflot Klæbo placed 43rd.
