Diamondbacks Retain Lovullo on 2-Year Deal

Lovullo just completed his 10th season with the D-backs, going 86-76 in 2026 but missing the playoffs for the third consecutive year. Arizona has made the playoffs just twice during his tenure (2017 and 2023), with the 2017 playoff appearance featuring 93 regular-season wins, the most under Lovullo. djcc.club

The manager is far and away the winningest in Diamondbacks history with 750 managerial wins. Lovullo and general manager Mike Hazen have both been in their respective positions since 2017, and this offseason, Arizona players including Zac Gallen, Merrill Kelly, and Mike Soroka are set to hit free agency.
