Barcelona's New Arena Gets External Investor

FC Barcelona has revealed that an external investor will fund the construction of the new Palau Blaugrana, with the company gaining exploitation rights for non-Barça events for up to 50 years.

During the General Assembly on September 19, FC Barcelona President Joan Laporta and Economic Vice President Ferran Olivé announced that an external investor will finance the new Palau Blaugrana. The club will provide the land where the former Miniestadi stood, while the external company will cover construction costs.

In return for their investment, the company will receive the rights to exploit the arena for non-Barça events for a period of up to 50 years, as confirmed by Olivé in an interview with Cadena SER. iwanktv.club
