Macdonald Confident Ball Will Find Shaheed

Through three games, Shaheed has only recorded six catches for 53 yards, significantly less than teammate Jaxon Smith-Njigba who has 27 catches for 405 yards and six touchdowns. Macdonald addressed Shaheed's production, stating, "I don't know what exactly his numbers are... it will. I think we've just got to stick to our process." somethingsdifferent.biz

Shaheed, who signed a $17 million per year contract, also contributes on special teams with seven punt returns for 67 yards and seven kickoff returns for 190 yards. Despite the lower offensive production, Macdonald expressed confidence that Shaheed's role will increase as the season progresses.
