Hunter Aims for Every Snap in Dual Role

Travis Hunter expressed his desire to play every snap on both sides of the ball after making plays in practice, as the Jaguars star targets increased snaps.

Travis Hunter, who played 324 offensive snaps and 162 defensive snaps in seven games last season before a knee injury, is targeting a heavier workload. In a recent practice, he made an interception and caught two passes, including a 35-yarder.

Through a week of training camp, Hunter has taken 34 snaps on defense and 22 on offense in 11-on-11 work. He told NFL Network's Judy Battista: "All of them. I can't stay on the sideline." The Jaguars traded up to draft him second overall after he played 688 defensive snaps and 672 offensive snaps while winning the Heisman at Colorado in 2024. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence noted Hunter's talent, saying he would play every snap if able. extract-html.com
