Harbaugh Backs McDaniel Amid Offensive Struggles

Despite the Chargers' offensive struggles—ranked 20th with Justin Herbert's 73.4 passer rating (26th) and more turnovers (six) than touchdowns (five)—head coach Jim Harbaugh affirmed his trust in offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. "No, we trust Mike. We believe in Mike," Harbaugh stated. mchezo.co.za

While Harbaugh has publicly criticized Herbert's decision-making, he hasn't directed similar remarks at McDaniel. Herbert defended McDaniel, saying, "He's definitely a guy that we need to lean on; he's done such an incredible job," emphasizing the need for better execution.
