Cowboys TE Fant carted off with knee injury

Cowboys tight end Princeton Fant was carted off from Monday's practice with an apparent left knee injury after taking a knee-to-knee hit during training camp.

According to Calvin Watkins of the Dallas Morning News, Fant was scheduled for an MRI to determine the extent of the injury. The 2023 undrafted free agent out of Tennessee has appeared in 11 games over three seasons, primarily on special teams. The Cowboys have other tight ends on the roster including Jake Ferguson, Brevyn Spann-Ford, and Luke Schoonmaker. macnevers-and-co.beer
