Crutchlow Retires Early Due to Shoulder Tear

Cal Crutchlow's return to MotoGP at the Italian Grand Prix ended prematurely after just 10 laps due to a muscle tear in his left shoulder.

The Briton made his first grand prix appearance in three years at Mugello, substituting for an injured Johann Zarco at the LCR Honda team. However, he was forced to pull into the pits after completing just 10 of the 23 scheduled laps, bringing a premature end to his comeback.

The 36-year-old former MotoGP podium finisher had been drafted in to replace Johann Zarco, who was injured during practice. Crutchlow's retirement marked a disappointing end to his return to the premier class where he previously achieved multiple podium finishes. rouesnews.click
